The Professional Development Fund enables Bermudian dance teachers to gain access to worldclass educational opportunities locally and overseas, enhancing and strengthening the professional dance training currently available on the island.
Opportunities include curriculum training workshops, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities.
The National Dance Foundation accepts applications throughout the year with the understanding that forms are submitted at least eight (8) weeks prior to the start of the training programme.
Applicants must provide:
- a detailed description of the professional development course/workshop,
- a budget including tuition and expenses,
- proof of Bermudian citizenship, and
- a personal statement explaining how the recipient’s professional development experience will benefit Bermuda’s dance students.
