Auditions for the Young Dancer’s Programme at DanceBermuda 2012 will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the dance facilities of Bermuda High School. Auditions will begin promptly at 1:00pm and last for one hour thirty minutes.
The Young Dancer’s Programme is a customized curriculum designed for the developmental needs of dancers aged 9- 12 years. Master teachers from American Ballet Theatre accredited in this highly specialized field of dance instruction provide personalized, individual attention in classes that include ballet, jazz, Broadway dance as well as music history and appreciation.
Auditions for an intense, all-inclusive level of training for dancers aged 13-21 who are resident
in Bermuda will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 3:00pm – 4:30pm in the dance studio of The Bermuda High School for Girls.
Under the artistic direction of Brian Reeder, this tailored programme will offer classes in ballet, pointe, partnering, contemporary and reportory. Bermuda dancers will study with five male students from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York.
